Synopsis

This quiet and understated cafe sits on the back streets of St Paul's in Bristol, UK. Owners Ernest and Charlotte have drawn inspiration from their favourite cafes in Denmark and Hong Kong to create just the right atmosphere. They have made the space their own with soft personal touches like the curved bar, archway and concrete wall art. But the most important thing at Greytone is the smooth, hot coffee they serve.

Notes

We came across Greytone after it popped up in the neighbourhood where we live in Bristol. The newly developed student flats had a vacant commercial lease on the ground floor for what felt like a few years. It was with much pleasure to step into the calming environment of Greytone when they opened shop. We connected with the owners, really appreciating the thought and care that went into making this space and knew it would be a satisfying story to tell and share with others. They do make an excellent coffee too.
