synopsis

After being on The Pill for almost a decade, Maria looks for a less disruptive alternative to regulating her menstrual cycle in the hopes of reconnecting with her natural period. Along the way, however, she makes some surprising discoveries about herself. Using recreations, this short documentary walks us through Maria’s life and experience as a menstruator.
